One thing is for sure, rap songs are keen on inspiring shockingly graphics videos that really show how hard life is in the streets. When you're driving over 100 miles per hour in your ferrari and get pulled over by a stunning police women, who instead of writing you a ticket, decides to spontaneously have sex with you in the back of her patorl car, you can really sympathize with Lil Wayne.

SCARFACE- HIGH POWERED

The song and the video are about an ex-hustler turned snitch who ends up in prison. Scarface is a veteran hip hop artist and its good to see him back....but is it just me, or is the "STOP SNITCHING campaign" so 2006.

ESTELL FT SEAN PAUL-COME OVER

Only thing that needs to be said about this video as well as the song is grown & sexy. Directed by Lil X, Estelle and Sean Paul act as two strangers who live out a love-at-first-sight fantasy between their lavish apartments.

NEYO- MAD

(Warning may contain spoilers.) Once again Neyo can do no wrong with another hit single from his albumn Year Of The Gentleman. Although the idea for the video of Mad may be unoriginal to those who have seen one too many episodes of the "Twilight Zone", it does go very well with song. Both the video and the song express the importance of cherishing the time you have with love ones rather than wasting it being mad at each other. I caution those with sensitive hearts that the video may jerk a few tears when they realize that it is Neyo's ghost that is singing to his long lost love.

T.I. ft. Rihanna- Live Your Life

Here's a very cinematic video from T.I. Directed by Anthony Mandler the video complements the song through its implication that this was the actual road that T.I. took through life to get to where he is now. Though many artist may shy away from this type of video due to funding, this is a perfect example of how a music video should be.

Kanye West "HEARTLESS"

Mr. West gives us another piece of art in motion with this video. In Heartless he sings about how he lost his soul to a cold woman which puts him out of touch with reality, which is expressed with the animation.

NEYO- MISS INDEPENDENT

In Neyo's song "Miss Independent", he expresses his appreciation for successful women because they have their own, thus they are not after him for money or material gifts. The video, which stars Gabrielle Union, Lauren London, and Keri Hilson as his love interest, is literally a gentleman's fantasy. Neyo stars as the only man ,aside from the cameo glimpse of singer Trey Songz, who works in an office full of very attractive and fashionably dressed young women who all greet him with suggestive stares as he walks through the office ( a reference to the Eddie Murphy classic "Boomerang").

Kanye West Love Lockdown

Here's a very interesting video from Kanye West, who we know lost his mother last year and ended a relationship with his girlfriend of five years. A very symbolic video, it is a reflection of Kanye's artistic vision. The thing that makes this video pessimistic as well as genius..is that it is just as abstract as the lyrics to song, which I feel was meant to be left open to interpretation.
