T.I. ft. Rihanna- Live Your Life

Here's a very cinematic video from T.I. Directed by Anthony Mandler the video complements the song through its implication that this was the actual road that T.I. took through life to get to where he is now. Though many artist may shy away from this type of video due to funding, this is a perfect example of how a music video should be.

Kanye West "HEARTLESS"

Mr. West gives us another piece of art in motion with this video. In Heartless he sings about how he lost his soul to a cold woman which puts him out of touch with reality, which is expressed with the animation.

NEYO- MISS INDEPENDENT

In Neyo's song "Miss Independent", he expresses his appreciation for successful women because they have their own, thus they are not after him for money or material gifts. The video, which stars Gabrielle Union, Lauren London, and Keri Hilson as his love interest, is literally a gentleman's fantasy. Neyo stars as the only man ,aside from the cameo glimpse of singer Trey Songz, who works in an office full of very attractive and fashionably dressed young women who all greet him with suggestive stares as he walks through the office ( a reference to the Eddie Murphy classic "Boomerang").

Kanye West Love Lockdown

Here's a very interesting video from Kanye West, who we know lost his mother last year and ended a relationship with his girlfriend of five years. A very symbolic video, it is a reflection of Kanye's artistic vision. The thing that makes this video pessimistic as well as genius..is that it is just as abstract as the lyrics to song, which I feel was meant to be left open to interpretation.
